The range
The thickener decides how a grease resists water, heat and load, and how it behaves in a bearing that runs for months between refills.
Five thickener technologies cover the range. LITHAX lithium greases are the workhorses for automotive and general industry, from a semi-fluid EP-00 for central systems to an MoS2 grade for sliding loads. COMPLEXA lithium complex greases take higher temperatures and heavier loads. Calcium grades resist water, SULFAX calcium sulphonate holds up where water and load meet, and bentonite grades run where soap greases fail. Sixteen grades, NLGI 000 to 3, in cartridge, 18 kg pail and 180 kg drum.
